On the Question of Balkan Federation is a political pamphlet written by Moša Pijade, a leading Yugoslav communist, painter, and close collaborator of Josip Broz Tito.

Published in 1949, the book examines the idea of establishing a socialist federation among Balkan states, focusing on Yugoslavia's negotiations with Bulgaria (and to some extent Albania) between 1943 and 1948. Pijade argues for regional unity as a means to strengthen socialist development and resist external influences, while criticizing Soviet opposition under Joseph Stalin, which ultimately derailed the project and contributed to the Tito-Stalin split.

The work reflects Yugoslavia's shift toward an independent path in communism.
