Macedonian State is an independent digital project dedicated to the preservation, presentation, and promotion of Macedonian history, culture, identity, and heritage.

“Macedonian State” is an independent, non-profit digital initiative dedicated to the preservation, presentation, and promotion of Macedonian history, culture, identity, and heritage.
The initiative was formed on May 15, 2024. Its website was officially launched on September 8, 2024, on the Day of Macedonian Independence, the national holiday marking the 1991 referendum through which Macedonia declared its will for independence from Yugoslavia.
The website is intended to serve as a hub for multiple digital libraries, as well as for our own private book collection. It brings together historical sources, rare books, archival materials, photographs, maps, testimonies, publications, and educational content in one organized digital space.
Its purpose is to make these materials more accessible to the public and to support a broader understanding of Macedonian historical memory through research, digital publishing, documentation, and visual presentation.
“Macedonian State” was established in response to the need for a serious digital repository of Macedonian historical and cultural materials. Many valuable sources remain scattered, forgotten, difficult to access, or insufficiently represented online. The project seeks to collect, protect, and present such material in a structured and responsible manner for current and future generations.

Through careful and dedicated scanning work, we preserve our historical documents for future generations.
Our careful digitization process captures every detail of historical documents with great attention to quality. We use high-resolution scanning and careful color work to ensure authenticity and accessibility for our community.
Each document is handled with care by our dedicated team, ensuring physical preservation while creating digital copies that we hope will serve our people for generations to come.
