The Party Gathers

The Party Gathers by Gjorgji Dimchevski is a music collection of harmonized and arranged Macedonian folk songs, published in Skopje in 1986. The work presents folk songs as a living part of Macedonian musical tradition, adapted for choral and stage performance.

Particular attention is given to komitadji, partisan, and urban folk songs, including examples such as Izlegol Delchev Vojvoda, Majka rodi mashko chedo, Tatuncho strashen vojvoda, and Bitola moj roden kraj.
